0000088: Browser Toolbar

Sever users have requested a browser toolbar for the Alerter.

0000086: Chat window link does not work

Mainly because the function is missing in the code hopefully it will be changed in the next version.

0000087: Compile Warnings (38)

these can be completely reduced

like for instance you have

bool complete;

instead you could do

bool Q_UNUSED(complete);

it would stop the unused warnings when compiling.

0000054: VFAlerter Crashes

Alerter takes forever to load then just exits

0000085: URL not parsing in chat window

URL does not parse in chat window due to the actual function missing. hopefully will be resolved in the next release?

as seen in the photo the icon should be a hand not an arrow.

0000084: Username theme colors do not reset properly when switching to 'none' theme.

When switching from 'none' theme from one of the other themes, the colors of usernames do not reset like expected.

0000082: [Feature]Share Custom Themes

Having a feature like this would go along way in my opinion. each designer could openly share there layouts with everyone.

0000083: Auto Update

Would be awesome to have an auto update feature instead of having to go to the website everytime an update is released for VFIM.

0000080: Multiple popups

There seems to be multiple alert popus in some cases, possibly because the server is sending data multiple times?

0000081: Status message resets

The status message seems to re-set every time there is an alerts popup.

0000058: URL Parsing

URLs should be automatically parsed into clickable links.

0000076: Alerts shows enabled, even when offline in certain cases

In some instances (when changing or setting username / password) the Alerts combobox can show enabled, even though the alerter component is offline.

0000078: Blank Alerts List

The Alerts list is blank when Alerts are disabled or the Alerter component is offline. This can confuse users, so there should be some indication in the list explaining that.

0000079: don't show uncehcked alerts

Gives the users the option to hide the alerts they do not want to view.

0000075: No popup when wrong username and password is tried too many times

The server has brute-force protection, but the client does not provide any feedback to the user when this happens, making them think they have the wrong username or password set.

0000074: Crash on closing "You have connected from another location" dialog

The above dialog causes the Messenger to crash (or possibly shutdown) when it is closed, but only after a short time. Hard to reproduce exactly, seems fairly random.

0000077: 2 "You must set your username / password" popups

If Connect-on-startup is on, and Alerts are enabled, but the username or password are blank, there are 2 popups warning you.

0000062: Sometimes friends who are already online show as offline

When first connecting, the status of some friends who are online are shown as offline.

Behaviour is correct when a friend comes online or goes offline when we are already logged in.

0000063: Link icons in chat window not themeable

The 3 icons (Profile, Gallery, Journal) in the Chat window can not be changed when using themes.

0000071: Animated icon not themable

The animated icon used on the main window when connecting and while friends icon is downloading (in chat window) is not themeable.

0000072: Crashes when exit while settings open

In the linux version of the VF IM Version 1. Beta 1. if you close the main IM window while the settings window is open, the application will quit after the settings window is closed,
this is reproducible every time it is tried,

0000070: Client is not always aware when it has gone offline

The client program does not seem to always be aware when it is offline, still showing as if online until data is sent (stale connection).

The client also appears to be getting disconnected periodically.

0000068: Blank messages

The chat sends a blank message if return is pressed with no text. This should not really happen, as sending blanks is not desirable.

0000069: Theme problem with Chat window

The chat window icon is not updated when the theme is changed.

The chat window icon does not change to indicate online / offline status.

The chat window does not get set to 'no theme' when the main program is.
